✅ Do’s
- Always carry a valid entry permit before stepping into Corbett Tiger Reserve, as permits are mandatory.
- Bring a litter bag with you and ensure all non-biodegradable waste like bottles, cans, plastic, and foil wrappers is taken back outside the park.
- Hire only certified and registered nature guides to help you spot wildlife safely and navigate the forest trails.
- Treat wild animals with respect—observe them from a safe distance without disturbing their natural behaviour.
- Soak in the natural symphony of the jungle instead of playing loud music.
- Wear clothing in earthy or muted tones like khaki, olive green, or brown to blend with the surroundings.
- Be mindful of energy and water—turn off lights, fans, and taps when not in use.
- Collect your clearance certificate before checking out from any accommodation within the reserve.
- Only two adults and two children (under 12 years) are allowed per room in the tourist zones, so plan your stay accordingly.
- Drive carefully and at a slow speed to ensure safety for both visitors and wildlife.
❌ Don’ts
- Carrying firearms or any kind of weapons inside the reserve is strictly forbidden.
- Smoking or lighting fires within the park is not allowed under any circumstances.
- Driving inside the reserve after sunset is prohibited.
- Cooking inside the park boundaries is not permitted.
- Playing music devices, radios, or recorders is strictly restricted.
- Do not take your vehicle off the marked trails, as it harms the ecosystem.
- Avoid honking or overspeeding—it disturbs the wildlife and violates park rules.
- Respect all zones—entry into restricted areas is not allowed.
- Do not shout, tease, or try to feed the animals. Such acts are punishable offenses.
- Carrying or consuming non-vegetarian food is banned inside the park.
- Entry into the reserve after sunset is not permitted.
- Permits are non-transferable—do not attempt to misuse them.
